What is Great Start CONNECT? It’s an on-line system of early learning resources, including a new database of licensed/registered child care and early education programs in the great state of Michigan.

How does the database work? It’s easy! If you’re a child care provider, simply log-in and upload information about your child care and early education setting, skills, programs and openings. You can even upload photos!

And if you’re a parent looking for a child care and early education setting for your child? Simply follow the instructions to locate providers near you. You can search 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

What else can Great Start CONNECT do? Plenty! Families and those caring for young children can use Great Start CONNECT to find community resources and supports through their local Great Start Collaborative and their local Great Start Regional Child Care Resource Center. And starting soon, providers will be to register for professional development training, as well.
