Regional Child Care Coalitions Gather to Address Michigan’s Child Care Needs

Last week, Regional Child Care Coalitions (RCCCs) from across Michigan came together for a powerful in-person convening hosted by ECIC’s Child Care Innovation Fund team alongside our partners at Weaving Change LLC and Pulse at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research.

Together, we explored evaluation findings and shared data tools and resources designed to strengthen each Coalition’s efforts. Through collaborative discussion and interactive sessions, ECIC and its partners worked with RCCCs to surface needed supports, highlight shared strategies, and identify new opportunities for technical assistance.

We’re deeply grateful to the RCCCs and our external partners for their ongoing collaboration and commitment to building community-based, cross-sector solutions. Their efforts are helping to expand access to quality, affordable child care and address Michigan’s child care crisis head-on.

Thank you for the work you do, and for showing up ready to learn, share, and lead!
