ECIC Action Center

The Early Childhood Investment Corporation’s Policy Action Center empowers Michiganders to educate lawmakers about the policies and investments families, child care providers, and our economy need to thrive.

ECIC’s priorities focus on increasing families’ access to high-quality, affordable early learning and care close to home or work; supporting and investing in child care businesses so they can remain open and expand to meet demand; and ensuring child care is central to Michigan’s economic recovery so parents can work.  Additionally, whole child, whole family needs must be met through sound public policy through improvements to family and infant health and wellbeing, expanded funding for home visiting and Early On, affordable and safe housing, and stronger economic security for families.
