The Early Childhood Investment Corporation’s Policy Action Center empowers Michiganders to educate lawmakers about the policies and investments families, child care providers, and our economy need to thrive.
ECIC’s priorities focus on increasing families’ access to high-quality, affordable early learning and care close to home or work; supporting and investing in child care businesses so they can remain open and expand to meet demand; and ensuring child care is central to Michigan’s economic recovery so parents can return to work successfully. To achieve these goals, ECIC champions improvements to family and infant health and wellbeing, expanded funding for home visiting and Early On, affordable and safe housing, and stronger economic security for families.
